Hyperlink HTML How to make the MONEYMAKER line work!!!
This note is for anyone experiencing these thoughts of business success:

THE #%$%&U*$ Hyperlink in my shoutbox won't work!!

I sent the link in the email but they say it will not go to the web page I want them to visit.

The links in my blogs look like they are live but no web page comes up.



Since we are all here to make money then it benefits each of us to know how to read and critique THE MONEYMAKER code line for HTML.

This is the line:

My Money WEBSITE (but no commas only one space between the "a" and "href") I had to add comma here to throw of the HTML editor



with the word WEBSITE followed by these keystrokes "<" then "/" then "a" and finally the last ">" but no quotes

type this in correctly or else it will just read as more text and it will feel like frustration to you AND your prospectve customer

Here is the breakdown:

< means begin html code

a href= means go and get this web site

"moneywebsite" means everything in the qoutes is the website URL It MUST be in the format " http:// yourwebsite.XX" where XX is the domain extension "com" "gov" "ed" "UK" "AU' "ws" or any number of other extensions ALSO NO spaces between the quote marks. I had to put the spaces in this teaching article otherwise YUWIE Guy was trying to make a hyperlink for me;. he is soooo helpful.

MY Money WEBSITE is what your prospect reads and clicks on You can write whatever text you want the prospect to read and be able to click

the keystrokes after WEBSITE First < then / then "a" and finally > means this is the end of the moneymaker code line (again no quotes)



Shoutbox and Personal Messages

In both of these modes the above format works to get your job done right.



Blog

In blog mode Yuwie Guy is helpful if you pay attention. There is an insert link button that is in the command tool bar. It is the infinity logo just to the right of the"insert image" button you guys love to use so much.

BUT... pay attention here. The window asks for what type of hyperlink: "http://" "https://" or "mailto:" THEN it asks for your URL. DO NOT type in" http://" on the URL line here. That DOUBLE types the 'http://" into the hyperlink and it screws it up. Just start with "www." and go from there.

LAST Item: always check the hyperlinks yourself on your own blog after you post it live. This is YOUR business. make sure your investment of time has been worthwhile.

As you roll your mouse over the hyperlink, you can look in the lower left corner of your internet screen and the link will show where it will try to go if you click it. If what you see is anything besides just the link you want then you need to go back and fix it so it is correct.
